Care goal

Soft hair

Take away the stiffness left by colouring, styling or dryness, so the lengths comb more easily, fall more softly and no longer feel rough to the touch.

Products

What to take for softness and manageability

The selection combines light emulsions, care for dry ends, masks and formats for curly hair, so that softness does not turn into a heavy, sticky layer.

Signs of stiffness

When hair lacks softness

Softness is not only for dry hair. After colouring, lightening, hot styling or the wrong care, the lengths can stay clean but stiff: they comb badly, stick out and will not settle into a smooth surface.

Hair feels rough to the touch 01 Hair feels rough to the touch

After washing the lengths are clean but not pliable: fingers catch, and the ends seem dry.

Hard to comb 02 Hard to comb

The lengths tangle after sleeping or styling, especially on the lower third and near the ends.

The shape does not look soft 03 The shape does not look soft

The wave, the curl or the straight surface is there, but the movement is stiff, without an easy fall and a well-kept finish.

How to build the ritual

A ritual for softness

Softness is best built in layers: base care after washing, then a light finish on the lengths and separate attention for the ends. If your hair is fine, start with less product and do not apply dense textures near the roots.

A ritual for softness
  1. 01 Soften after washing

An emulsion or a mask, so the lengths are not stiff as soon as they dry.

  2. 02 Take the dryness off the ends

A serum or leave-in on the lower part of the lengths only.

  3. 03 Keep the movement

A light finish without excess product, so the hair does not lose volume.

FAQ

Answers before you buy

What should I choose for softness?

Start with where the stiffness actually is: the whole length, the ends, or only the area after styling. For the whole length an emulsion or a mask is better; for the ends, a serum.

Is softness suitable for fine hair?

Yes, if you choose light textures and apply them along the lengths rather than near the roots. The aim is movement and smoothness, not a heavy layer.

Why is my hair soft only on wash day?

Most often the finish disappears quickly because of dry ends or porosity. Add local care to the lower third of the lengths.

Does curly hair need a mask?

Curly hair often needs softness without losing definition. A mask or dedicated care helps keep the shape without drying it out.

How do I avoid overdoing the care?

Start small: one main product after washing and a finish on the ends. If the hair quickly loses its movement, use less.

When is it worth taking the quiz?

If you need softness together with colour, dryness or breakage, the quiz helps you assemble care without random extra products.
