Where care begins

Washing decides more than it seems

LUNEVA shampoos are built for specific jobs: gentle daily washing, colour protection, deep cleansing before colouring, sebum regulation and care for curls. Mild surfactants, a physiological pH and active complexes cleanse without over-drying and keep the scalp in balance. Every formula is a professional tool: choose your shampoo by hair and scalp type and get clean, light, well-kept hair from the first wash.

Hair gets oily quickly at the roots 01 Hair gets oily quickly at the roots

Often this is the skin responding to aggressive cleansing: the harder you strip it, the more actively it works. Mild surfactants and a physiological pH break that cycle.

Colour washes out after a few washes 02 Colour washes out after a few washes

After colouring the cuticle is open and pigment goes down the drain. Shampoos for coloured hair cleanse more gently and stabilise the colour.

Your scalp reacts to ordinary products 03 Your scalp reacts to ordinary products

Itching, tightness or flaking is a reason to switch to a sulphate-free formula with soothing ingredients.

How to build the ritual

Washing properly

Shampoo works with the scalp, not the lengths: the lather running down is enough to cleanse the ends. A second lathering is only needed after styling products or oils.

Washing properly
  1. 01 Spread it over the scalp

Lather in your palms and apply to the roots, massaging with your fingertips rather than your nails.

  2. 02 Do not rub the lengths

The ends are cleansed by the lather running down. Mechanical friction only lifts the cuticle.

  3. 03 Rinse and close with care

After shampoo, conditioner or a mask is essential: washing opens the cuticle, and care closes it.

FAQ

Answers before you buy

Can I wash my hair every day?

Yes, if the shampoo is gentle and matched to your scalp. The problem is not the frequency but how aggressive the formula is.

What is a toning shampoo and who needs it?

It is a shampoo with direct pigments: it refreshes the shade between toning sessions. Lightened and coloured hair needs it when the colour starts to turn warmer.

How long should I leave a toning shampoo on?

Start with less time than stated and watch the result. On porous lengths the pigment takes faster and can go on unevenly.

Why is my hair dry after shampoo?

Most often it is cleansing that is too strong, or no care after washing. Try a gentler formula and always close the wash with conditioner.

Do I need a separate shampoo before colouring?

Yes, if styling products or silicones have built up on the hair. Deep cleansing helps the colour go on more evenly.

How much shampoo should I use at a time?

For medium-length hair — roughly a coin-sized amount. More does not mean cleaner: an excess rinses out less easily.
